As a parent of pupils at St Francis, Paula regularly takes photographs at special school events and we are very grateful to her for much of the photography on this website.
Blackrock Tidy Towns is one of the principal community groups in the village. Their objective is to make Blackrock a better place in which to live, and a more pleasant place to visit.
Their current committee comprises John Horan (chair), Larry Magnier (executive manager and PRO), Brian McElroy (treasurer), Marie McCallion (schools liaison), Richard Martin, Gerry Hughes, Ann Fennelly, Attracta Roche, Garrett Shine, and Michael Dunleavy.

Blackrock Park is a facility for all the community built by the community. Recent developments include a new sports area for local teens, a bio diversity area and a playground.
